Dolphin Emulator Mario Party 9
Sorry if this is in the wrong place. I tried to start this in the Wii forum but I do not have rights to it. I did search that forum and no results came up (tried with and without quotes), so there was no existing forum I could find there to post this into.
Getting down to the nitty gritty, the Wiki says the only required setting for non default is EFB copies to RAM and LLE, so I did that. I have used 458 and 631 (DX 9). I have not tried 3.0 because no one in the wiki had so I just assumed there was a reason for it and the issues I am having are not always happening and are not always the same. Anyways I had numerous problems even though the wiki lead me to believe it would play fine. Silly wiki.
First time I played, there is a minigame (not finger painting) where you shoot paint out of a gun and no paint would show on the screen for any players. The second time I played, the minigame worked fine. I changed nothing in between and it was on the same machine.
Additionally, the first time I played, the sound was very nice, second time I played, the longer we played, the worst the sound got (hard to describe, but mostly muffled and crackly). LLE and LLE on Thread were used in both instances.
Thirdly, no matter what I do, if I use 4 WiiMotes, I cannot press A+B to start the game. If I use 3 (I have tried different combos of WiiMotes to see if one was the culprit) and it mattered not. As long as we only wanted 3 players, gold, otherwise, we cannot start the game: so strange. The Wii controls were simply setup as real WiiMote on all of them. nothing fancy.
Don't get me wrong, there were no error messages or crashes and when we have less than 4 WiiMotes, we can finish the game, but the above issues make me a little less than confident playing it again.
I suppose what I am really asking is if there is a preferred version or setting that I may have missed that would have resolved these? Hopefully I am doing something wrong because that means it is a quick fix!
As always Thanks in advance for reading this long post
